Infiniti Advanced Air Bag System
The Infiniti Advanced Air Bag System (AABS) includes dual-stage front supplemental air bags with seat belt and occupant-classification sensors that adjust their inflation rate depending on crash severity and seat belt usage. If the front passenger seat is empty, a sensor will deactivate the air bag. Seat-mounted side-impact air bags move with the seat to help maintain optimum positioning at all times. Roof-mounted curtain side-impact air bags help protect front and outboard rear occupants during certain side collisions.
Enhanced Control
Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC)[ helps correct oversteer or understeer by applying brake pressure to individual wheels and adjusting the engine's power output. The Traction Control System (TCS) in the 2011 G series helps enhance rear-wheel grip when accelerating by sensing wheelspin and automatically reducing engine output and/or braking the spinning wheel.
